SEO is said to be a “heavily guarded” secret. I guess that’s true only if you have something to guard, like Emurse does. (Trust me, I got free and very cruddy “advice” from self-proclaimed SEO and “Cybrarian” experts that went no where.) I joined Emurse days ago, didn’t like the resume upload tool, but before I cancelled, I was “encouraged” to try the resume building tool. Well hello…THAT is where all the SEO technology lies!
Fast forward about 2 weeks…here’s where my web presence is as expressed below in a comment to Alex Rudloff at Emurse:
“I don’t know what you guys are doing over there, but I’m watching the view activity on my resume and oh-my-god, it’s blowing up! In fact, I’m the #2 Google result when searching on “www.linkedin/in/”. That’s entirely generic and crazy
I think I know why and how, but still, it’s crazy! I have ideas on what else emurse can do for me and I’m willing to pay…hope you don’t get sick of my suggestions J”
Funny thing…Emurse Nadine is doing battle for #1 Google spot with another Nadine Turner who is probably six feet under by now, but listed on a site that has apparently awesome SEO. I find that amusing. Emurse Nadine won out for a few days before “dead Nadine” resumed the throne (may she rest in peace). In a weird way, this is sort of fun.
And we still have a ton of SEO improvements on our road map
Stay tuned!
Best,
Alex Rudloff
